Dr. Munir Ahmad Shah

DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR This man is full of himself. I saw him in June per my doctors advise and I have a hole in my knee. My past I have had 2 revisions on my knee because of infection. So with the hole I need to make sure no infection. He look at the CT scan I got said he couldn’t open it. Didn’t even look at my knee said the X-rays were good no problems. He just check my range of motion. Said I was fine and sent me on my way Now it’s April 2025 and guess what. I may now have to lose my leg because he was wrong… I did see him last week after some scans and rays again. He said he could not help me he didn’t want to give me antibiotics because he said the doctor he going to send me too might be not be happy that I was on antibiotics if I need surgery. He also seemed liked he was too good to have me as a patient. He got a bit defensive about my questions DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR.

This doctor misdiagnosed my hip pain. From an X-ray only, he 'magically' concluded that the pain was referred from my spine. He said he saw minor arthritis in the X-ray, but never offered a steroidal injection. How 'referred pain' got into the mix is a mystery to me. He didn't offer to schedule an MRI to look any further for a complete and accurate diagnosis. Another doctor did order an MRI, and I have arthritic issues, not referred pain from my spine. After a few rodeos with this rude orthopedic, I'm done. At only one time in the distant past did he help me in actuality, with shoulder pain. The current physical therapy clinic he sends people to is abysmal. I walked out after three sessions. As a CPT-PES NASM grad, I'm not easily fooled, and am glad I sought help elsewhere. Dr. Shah seems to be slipping..?

I have been treated by Dr. Shah for both hand and shoulder ailments. Outcomes were excellent in both cases. I have no hesitation to recommend Dr. Shah.

I saw “Doctor” Shah after I had dislocated my left wrist. He literally laughed in my face. He made remarks about how “lucky” I am that I don’t have the same problems as another patient with my condition, without even asking my medical history. He also failed to mention that I had torn something in my wrist. His nurse had a horrible attitude and gave me a cast so terrible that it cut my thumb and I could slip it off. I left his office crying. It was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a doctor. I got refunded for the visit because it was so bad. There are many good doctors at Woodlands Sports Medicine, and unfortunately, he is NOT one.

Dr. Shah did two thumb reconstructions for me. What I appreciated most was his directness about risk and outcomes and how he valued my opinion as a partner in the process. At times Dr. Shah can seem a bit direct, but it is because he challenges his patients to be a part of the decision-making.

I have been to Dr. Shah many times, with injuries from falls....Now I am taking my mom, who is 95. I trust his opinion, his expertise, & his treatments. His nurses are all very cordial, friendly & professional...however, JENNIFER is the one nurse that I am always looking for. She's honest, funny & very helpful with our visit....I always look forward to seeing her when I visit. Dr. Shah/Jennifer....win/win.

Dr Shah is the best orthopedist, I couldn’t make it without him and his expertise. The best nurses as well, friendly and knowledgeable, they are the extended hand of Dr Shah, especially Jennifer!!

My experience with Dr. Shah and his staff was outstanding. I highly recommend him for any and all orthopedic needs.

Best experience Ice ever had at an Orthopedic facility. From scheduling an appointment, quick wait time, great nurses, then last but not least, Dr Shah was outstanding. My whole experience was great! My friends told me how great he was and now I believe them. I got an injection for my tennis elbow and got 100% relief. I would refer anyone to this office! You can't forget the small people too, his nurses were excellent!

I came to see Dr. Shah about elbow pain and didn't have to wait long to be seen at all. The doctor was willing to sit down and answer any questions I had. He diagnosed me within the first visit, and the injections really helped my pain.
