This office knows how to get job done. Easy communication and carrying nurses. Loved the atmosphere and attitude. Unexpectedly happy with the outcome.

The first visit to a new doctor is always a cause to be a bit nervous, and this visit was no exception. Dr. Lal seemed to be knowledgeable of what may be causing my pain. He didn't jump to the obvious conclusion that other doctors mentioned, and he indicated that, in his opinion, my symptoms might be cause by something totally different. I decided to pursue the course of action he recommended, and am hoping to have relief in the near future.

I have been going for pain management since 2002 from a broadsided accident, my neck was fused and my lumbar they removed two disc. I never ever had a problem getting an appointment, some people complain due to drug use and pain management doctors frown on complainers knowing they jump from doctor to doctor typical over use druggy and they frown on these types. I know working with these guys is real tough when they are hooked on drugs. Respect to these doctors.

I recently find out that he is no longer in Chico. Oroville hospital is the new place, pretty good building, no issue with appointment, had to wait for my insurance approval longer than anticipated. But I’d rather wait and do my surgery with this guy.

Wonderful, smart and compassionate doctor! Truly the best and knowledgeable pain specialist that I came across and I have been to so many. Having chronic pain in my legs for 8 years and have had few surgeries done, I got hooked on heavy dose of pain killers. Unable to function and think straight, my everyday became a struggle. This doc gave me a new life, literally, new life. He was able to bring me back to normal without pain pills. That is it. Greg

I was one of his first clients when he came to Chico in 2006. After a car crash, I was taking a handful of norco a day to control my lower back pain. He listened to me and discovered no MRI or X-ray was ever done. He ordered a MRI, and we discovered 4 fractures in my lower back. He was on the phone minutes later to a neurosurgeon. He managed my pain with a balance of oral and transdermal narcotics. I was finally pain free. He again helped me titrate the medications down after surgery. I’m now pain free day-to-day. I’m now running marathons! I run and lift weights 4-5 days a week, and it all started with him.

I never had any problems with Dr. Lal. He is prompt and flexible with his schedule. If you are taking opiates to relieve your pain, he will work on getting you off them. He prescribed tramadol and pain patches to manage my pain. I think Dr. Lal is a great physician.

I thought I was going to be living with my pain for the rest of my life until I went to see Dr. Lal. He gave me hope and my life back. I am actually cutting down on my pain meds and enjoying be more active with my grandchildren. I think Dr. Lal is great at what he does and I will keep coming to him for years to come.
