Dr. Murat Polar, MD

I saw Dr. Polar today, for the first time. He took time to listen to all my concerns, ordered testing and took the time to explain why he was ordering testing and will put a care plan in place after he reviews my result. I was very impressed with his knowledge and kindness.

I have been to MANY doctors and none followed through, therefore no good results for me. First visit Dr. Polar listened to my full history, and some he knew as I was not a "number" and he had read up on all my medical history. He questioned "WHY" hadn't this or that been done or followed through. I had been told I had heart problems, but never followed through as to why or what could be done. Same with neurological problems, brain scans and physical problems, but nothing had been followed through to know why or what could be done for me. He is a VERY SMART man. He knows medications too and is not just a "pill pusher". If you can get off of something, then let's do it. He takes care of my mother, 90, also. He is very kind to her, but with not having any major health issues, he does not spend needless time with her visits, but if a person truly is in need of medical attention, he spends as much time as needed, even going back over other doctors reports of their care for you, and… sharing what these reports & tests mean and what should be the next course of action. I met a young lady last time I was to see him, she stated that he had LITERALLY saved her life where she had been to many doctors and was just going down hill. She stated too that he is so smart and because of his knowledge and persistence and caring that she is alive today. I have expressed only one thing of Doctor Polar and that is THAT HE IS NEVER TO MOVE AWAY AND THAT I WANT TO SEE HIM OLD AND GREY...that way I know he will always be there for me. I will be devastated if he ever leaves the are.
