Dr. Muriel Levy-Kern, MD

Made an error in the dosing of my meds. Tripled the dose. Then not realizing the error was screaming at me in the hospital that I was making up symptoms and was just taking too much of her time!

Dr. Levy-Kern was the first Endocrinologist that I have seen in many, many years. Her patience and understanding was so refreshing and made me feel at ease. She spent so much time with me asking questions and really getting to know me and my condition. I would recommend her to anyone, but specifically to someone with a thyroid condition. Her office staff are equally as wonderful from the front desk to her nurse. A true treasure of a doctor and so happy to have found her!

She is very educated and helped me alot. Her staff is not the best but if you come in for your appointments, she can help you like she helped me.

Each time I've come to see Dr. Levy-Kern, she's been disorganized. She comes in with a pile of my blood work and I can see that she is looking at them for the first time on her laptop- and hasn't looked at my illness since the last time I was there. She increased my dosage one month, and a couple months later, asked me why I got my dose increased. If your condition is under control, and you just need someone to monitor you, then she's probably okay. But if you feel bad, and need help, she might not be the best. I'm surprised she has so many good reviews.

Dr Levy-Kern has the compassion to understand the emotional and physical complexities of living with diabetes. She is professional and straightforward about what one needs to do, but her kindness informs her advice. I cannot recommend her enough.
