Dr. Murray Francis Robertson, MD

It has been 12 years since Dr Robertson did surgery on my shoulder. He repaired a torn rotator cuff, and bone spurs. He was the best Dr I have ever gone to. The reason I am just now reviewing him is because my husband is going through the same thing and now seeing him. I have a problem with things moving slowly and the chronic pain he is in. He was told he would have to get pain medication from his PCP, which he cannot see him for 3 more weeks. I think all the loser drug addicts have ruined it for the ones that really need the meds and have a hard time getting it. It will be nice to see him have a quality life again.

Dr. Robertson is very charming but really not interested in figuring out why you are in pain. He jumped to a tendonitis diagnosis as the cause of my inability to move both arms- with horrible pain and restricted motion. Since a cortisone shot did not work he sent me to 2 months of wasted therapy since there was no improvement. Would not refer me to the ":shoulder specialist" in his group but suggested surgery but did not say what kind.. Finally got to see another orthopedist specializing in shoulder and diagnosed acute adhesive capsulitis (frozen shoulder) and was referred to a specialzed therapist- after 4 months of intense therapy have regained almost all range of motion and almost no lingering pain. If Dr. Robertson had shown more interest in my misery than in being charming maybe I would have been better 6 months ago!

Dr. Murray Robertson was called in to the TMC Trauma Center when my mom had a horrible car accident. Her foot suffered the kind of injury they usually see after plane crashes; the situation was very gloomy. Dr. Robertson not only saved the foot, my mom was able to remain mobile the rest of her life. She was 78 at the time of the accident and lived (and walked) until she passed on at 94. I cannot thank Dr. Robertson and his amazing staff enough! He is kind, warm, professional and a highly skilled surgeon.
