Dr. Musarrat Afroze Yousuf, MD

Dr. Yousuf is an excellent doctor. She takes the time to discuss medical issues, questions and concerns in an attitude of compassion and she possesses the knowledge of current medical research and practice to deliver quality care. I have been a patient for many years and my respect for her grows with each visit.

While Dr. Yousef is a great doctor, one may never actually get a chance to see this because it's nearly impossible to schedule an appointment. Because of my respect for Doctor Yousef, I have stayed with her for several years despite all of the difficulty with scheduling appointments. However, I have finally decided to leave after Dr. Yousef refused to refill my medication because I had not been in for an appointment for that year. But, the only reason I had not been in for an appointment is because everything is booked weeks/months in advance, and when I FINALLY got an appointment, I was called the day of to be informed that my appointment had been canceled. So not only was it impossible to get in to see her, but I was also punished as a result of her incompetence by not having vital medications refilled. I have filed a complaint with the state board as well.

I had my first appointment yesterday as new patient. She took all her time to discuss my medical history, previous labs, and family history. I loved how she talked to me, made me feel better about my self, and focused on my self. Her staff was welcoming, very warming enviorment, and felt comfortable. I would keep her as my doctor for rest of my life. My family would love to have her as our primary doctor.

I believe that Dr. Yousuf truly cares about me and my health. She spends sufficient time listening to my questions and providing guidance to me. She recognizes that I have several long term health issues and helps me find ways to curb bad habits and improve me health conditions. I am ecstatic to have found a doctor who talks to me as opposed to at me. She treats me like a friend when I come for an appointment. Her knowledge is outstanding and her empathy is extraordinary. I recommend Dr. Yousuf to anyone looking for a doctor who's first priority your health and well being. Thank you Dr. Yousuf.

She is an excellent internist/endocrinologist - superb staff in her new location - easily accessible, ease of parking, excellent facility and a welcoming atmosphere

If you want a doctor that spends the quality time with you to understand your goals, help you achieve that goal and isn't trying to just make a buck. This one is the best.

Dr. Yousuf seemed like a good doctor at first but the longer I went to her I noticed she was moody; some visits she treated me nice other visits didn't go well at all. Beware if you have any questions. She can get very angry and has; she will yell at you and get ugly. Her nurse Madeline is rude and very abrupt. Good luck if you go there.

Dr. Yousuf is a fantastic Doctor who attends to my needs. She is very caring professional and wonderful. I would probably be in excellent health if I listened to her better. She does her job. Very knowledgeable.
