Dr. Mushtaq Ahmed Godil, MD

I'm 16 I was highly suspicious for thyroid cancer. Thankfully that wasnt the case. But I was absolutely terrified. He blew off everything I said. I could hardly understand him, he was talking so fast. His accent didnt help either. He didnt treat me well at all. All he said in a nutshell was "lose the weight and anxiety." Several months later and I haven't seen him again, nor do I plan too. My ent and new Endo at a different hospital hours away have finally given me answers to the conditions I have. But long story short, dont see Dr. Godil if you're looking for answers.

Bed side manner is horrible. Not friendly at all. Rushes and does not explain anything.

He is difficult to understand with how he talks - he doesn't necessarily use medical words, he just has a bit of a speech impediment. I wouldn't say he knows how to work with children the best, at least not with my child.He spends plenty of time in the room, which I guess can be a bonus. But most of the time we saw him he was typing on his computer and occasionally asking us questions. I felt like there was a lot of computer work that could have been done without me being there, so that felt like a waste of time. It was usually a 15-20 min visit with him talking to us for about 5 min of that time.I would not recommend him, but he was the only pediatric endocrinologist that I knew of in the area so I was kind of stuck.
