I have been a patient of Dr. Garbadawala's for almost one year. In that time, I never really had anything serious to see him about- just regular, common little illnesses and an appt regarding foot pain (heel spurs). That changed about a month ago. I went in feeling nausea, weakness, dizzines, and severe fatigue. He told me that I probably had sleep apnea and heartburn. I went to follow up 2 weeks later, telling hime that I wasn't getting any better w/ the heartburn rx. He told me that he is running out of ideas, then (almost as an after-thought) said that he would run blood work and have an ultrasound of my liver, pancreas, and gallbladder. His order on the ultasound asked for the results ASAP. I went in to have the test done on Wed and was told that the Dr would have that results by 48 hrs. On Fri, I was feeling REALLY bad. I called up to see about the results. I was told, by one of Dr G's staff, that I was given a follow-up appt (2 weeks out) and that he would review the results w/… me then. She also said that if anything was wrong, they would call me. The following Tues, I was in the ER w/ all the other symptoms + pain in my right side. The ER DR told me that I said Gall Stones & might need ER surgery in Columbus!! After further testing, it was decided that ER surgery wasn't needed, but that my gallbladder did need to come out within a week. Dr G & his staff REALLY dropped the ball on this one... and it could have been a VERY serious problem because of it!!!

Didn't have a family doctor for about 3 years after I got out of the military and heard mixed reviews about him but decided to try about a year ago. He's great! Helps wherever he can. Gives advice. And really seems like he cares. I called to make an appointment and was able to get in the very next morning due to the severity of the issue. Not usually a long wait time either! He's well worth the time!
