Dr. Mustafa Michael Kazemi, MD

How can anyone say anything but good about Dr. Kazemi? I suffer from weak lungs and high blood pressure, among other things. Many times he has pulled me through. He is soft-spoken, patient, has excellent bedside manners and takes time to answer all my questions with solutions. I see him every 90 days for follow-ups and tests, and he gets a little upset when I do not follow what I am to do (and rightly so) because he wants me to get better. I have referred several friends and family he has cared for, and they have had no problems. Most importantly, when I am in the hospital, Dr. Kazemi is sure I get the proper care and needs from the staff. This is important because things can get hectic in a hospital, and one can accidentally be overlooked. I have moved. However, I still travel 50 miles to see my doctor. You should genuinely call upon him; you will not regret it.

Dr. Kazemi, is a great doctor who has saved my life many times. He has been and continues to be my doctor, for over 25 years. He is careful, patient, and explains everything completely and slowly to ensure I understand. Dr Kazemi is so good that when you tell him what your symptoms are he immediately can tell you what is wrong and then follow up with needed tests. If he tells you what to do as a follow-up and I know for a fact, he will be upset because he wants me to fully understand the seriousness of my illness. I have referred friends and family to him and they just love him. My friend Grace was on 15 different medications and still not feeling better, by the time Dr. Kazemi examed, and ran tests he found she was taking medication for things she did not have. Wait time is very short about 5 minutes and the office is ALWAYS CLEAN AND NEAT. If one can say "I'm in love with my doctor" I would totally agree. He takes his job as a doctor very very seriously, he has a sense of humor, is… soft-spoken and thorough, and does not rush which allows me to ask questions. If anyone out there needs a great doctor, I strongly recommend Dr. Michael Kazemi.

Do not let him near you. I had him while being an inpatient at San Ramon Hospital Took him FIVE tries to get a PICC CATH done. His verbiage was rude, condescending, derogatory, sexist. He stated that " if I wasn't a female" at least four times. When he was done he looked at the clock and said " an Hour!!!! This should have been fifteen minutes." Needless to say I'm writing the Medical Board and San Ramon Hospital.

Dr. Kazemi helped me with a heart problem that had snuck up on me. He was very kind, patient with my millions of questions, and knew what steps to take to resolve the condition. I can't thank him enough for all his help.
