I was nervous about getting my wisdom teeth out. The office staff and doctor made this a very comfortable and easy experience. It was much easier than I thought it would be.

I had 4 wisdom teeth that never caused the slightest pain for 30 years. One was impacted, and after being badgered year after year by dentists to get them removed, I finally relented. I was referred to Dr. Jacobs in Eureka. He also recommended getting all 4 removed. I now, 4 years later, have no feeling in the left side of my tongue due to nerve damage. It was caused by one of the teeth that grew in fine, had never caused me an issue. Dr. Jacobs told me it was rare, but it happens, nothing he can do about it. I now have a lifetime of accidentally biting my tongue incessantly, barely if at all being able to taste food in half my mouth and constant weird sensations in my tongue. All for a surgery I never felt I needed.

I have had 2 implants within the past 3 years with Dr Jacobs. He is very skilled and competant, not to mention a very relaxed personality and demeanor. I would recommend him to anyone needing an oral surgeon who will put them completely at ease. He also performed an extraction on a molar for me. It was the fastest, most painless dental procedure I have ever experienced. I would not hesitate to go to him again when and if it is needed.

I had three teeth removed today and Dr. Jacobs had them out in less than minutes! The office staff was very easy to work with and pleasant. I highly recommend Dr. Jacobs.

I think Dr. Jacobs did a great job. He was very throrough at my consult, and made sure I knew all of my options. He made me feel very comfortable. I was very nervous to go under general anesthesia, but it was over before I can even remember getting the IV. The only thing I didn't care for were the staff. The nurses were not as friendly as him.
