She is the best pain management physician in Sarasota bar none. She relieved my pain without having back surgery. She Is simply amazing. She gave me my life back!!

As a result of failed back surgery, I suffered complications and became paralyzed from the waist down. When no other Doctor wanted to admit me to the hospital, Dr. Diaz-Ramirez pushed for me to be admitted and it was discovered that I had a pocket of infected fluid on the base of my spine that was the route of my complications. Without her advocating for me I could have died, so I truly hold Dr. Diaz-Ramirez responsible for saving my life. I just want to thank her for being a caring, compassionate, and proactive physician.

Dr. Diaz-Ramirez is a wonderful doctor. She has helped me with back pain. I have been suffering with 3 herniated discs that are inoperable because of my osteoporosis but since treatment by Dr. Diaz-Ramirez, I am able to function and live again. She is a caring and compassionate doctor and I highly recommend her.

I have seen Dr Diaz-Ramirez for several years. She listens to her patients and does a complete evaluation to narrow down her diagnosis rather than just treat symptoms. I highly recommend her.

After waiting excitedly to see Dr. Diaz-Ramirez, I must warn others to be prepared for a truly disappointing visit. First off, I'm a senior citizen recovering from a widow maker heart attack & live in pain which is why I was seeing a Pain Dr. and what they did not extend me the courtesy of telling me was valet costs $5 or you need to wear your hiking shoes. When I realized this fact, I contemplated canceling but decided to brave it out and walk. Out of breathe I arrived at the office only to see no available seats in the waiting room & to be expected to stand out of breath answering questions for over 8 minutes. The Dr's receptionist could care less till I asked to be seated, which they did in a back room exam room where I was ignored for an additional 45 minutes when I realized this Dr is quick to inform their procedure is if your late or cancel you will be billed for your exam, but to them your just another number so I left, after meeting the Dr in the hallway who informed… me she couldnt see me for another 15-20 minutes. Dr. Perhaps I should bill you for the inconvenience and lack of consideration but instead I hope other new patients will take heed before choosing you

She’s the best! My old doctor did an MRI last year and even though it was written in the report, he never told me or treated me for a tear in a muscle in my hip. I have doctored with numerous doctors for 8 years and Dr. Diaz was the first to find, diagnose and treat the tear in two visits! It makes me wonder what all these other doctors were doing for the last 8 years! Taking my money and running!!!

I had written a bad review due to a bad visit with Elana. I didn’t want to see her again but as it turned out I was scheduled to see her..She was most pleasant, she was compassionate, she asked if I had any questions or concerns, she took time with me and made me feel like she cared to give me a good treatment plan, she told me when I would get my meds, and I was thoroughly happy to have her for my visit. I can’t say enough about what a good visit I had.

Dr. M. Diaz Ramirez is very knowledgeable with RSD/CRPS very professional, kind and understanding after almost 6 yrs of suffering from this disease and seeing a several pain management I strongly feel I found what I've been looking for I'm very confident she is going to help me I highly recommend her
