Dr. Myriam P Garzon, MD

Do to a prior bad experience I get very scared before any procedure. This was communicated to my Doctor as well as the surgery center. She was promptly informed that I would be very scared, and even came to my bed briefly to talk about it. She ensured me that she would administer something to help me as well as put me under as much as possible. As I was laying on my stomach with my head down I can not tell if she actually did or not, I believe I saw her inject something into the IV line, however there was absolutely no affect. As the doctor began putting needles in my neck and the pain was excruciating. I know that I had my fist clinched since the heart monitor kept falling off of my finger over and over and kept trying to put it on. I my throat was sore from screaming. I had the same procedure done a few months earlier by the same Doctor in the same surgery center, with a different anesthesiologists and had no pain during the procedure, in fact I don't remember anything from it. Dr.… Garzon may have talked to the surgery center and my doctor, but never followed their direction. She left me terrified and in shock. After I got home I spend the next 24hrs in bed waking up with a panic attack remembering it.
