Dr. Myriam Aj Mondestin Sorrentino, MD

Simply Amazing! If I had to use a few words: thorough, dedicated, kind, knowledgeable. From my first interaction until my last, Dr. Mondestin went above and beyond any expectation I had. I was in between insurance companies and no OBGYNs would even schedule an appt. with me for a routine checkup until my new insurance was active (then had a wait time of 3 weeks before an opening). By the time I called Dr. Mondestin's office, I was in tears from so much rejection. She scheduled me an appointment for the day after my insurance went active to ensure I was on track and gave me her cell phone number. I had to go often and every single time, Dr. Mondestin took her time and really checked that the development was going well. She would often spend an hour with me and after examining everything, meet in her office where I could ask questions. I never once felt rushed. I have never had a doctor be so thorough or care so much. It was amazing. I wish that I could go to her for everything (GP/PPP)… ... seriously. I would highly recommend her to everyone and anyone.

Dr. Mondestin is by far one of the best doctors in her field. I was referred to her because my third pregnancy was high risk and she was great! I am a registered nurse so I come into contact with a lot of doctors and very few have good bedside manners as well as really know their "stuff". She's exceptional. I highly recommend her.

I cannot express how grateful I am to have been under the care of Dr. Mondestin Sorrentino. When our medical care system continues to trend towards large, impersonal practices, Dr. Mondestin Sorrentino provides compassionate, high quality, personable care. I give her the utmost respect for always making my needs a priority. I never felt rushed when I met with her, nor did I feel that any request or concern was too minor or flippant. She frequently reached out to me during her time off just to make sure I was supported. She works doubly hard to maintain her practice independence so that the women who are treated by her can be thoroughly looked after. She is a dying breed of doctor. Her knowledge and capability is unmatched and you will absolutely love her.

The medical care system in the USA appears to often value quantity and speed over anything else. As a patient I feel rushed and hastily cared for. Dr. Mondestin Sorrentino is not only giving and generous with her time, but she genuinely cares about providing the highest level service to her patients. We need more doctors like her, people who are dedicated to your well being and helping you have a healthy pregnancy. I cannot praise her enough. I’m very grateful to have been under her care.

I started seeing Dr. Mondestin at 24 weeks of my pregnancy due to being high risk. I work in the healthcare field and have never experienced the care and time she took with each appointment. Dr Mondestin was always on time and accommodating. She took her time to explain procedures and diagnosis throughout my pregnancy. I felt extremely safe with my pregnancy and baby in her hands. I was able to text her and reach her very quickly and she always put me at ease. I would highly recommend her for any high risk pregnancy. I wish my obygyn had recommended an MFM sooner. My daughter and I are healthy and happy because of her.

I was recommended to do sonograms with her and my experienced was beyond grateful. I was very worried about my baby's health since the other sonograms from a different office showed my baby was very small for 30 weeks of pregnancy.Thankfully my obgyn refer me to Dr Myriam Mondestin Sorrentino. Right from the start I felt very comfortable and she did my sonogram with patience and she was also very thorough. Dr Myriam Mondestin Sorrentino explain and showed every part of the sonogram to me. My baby is perfectly healthy and she was born with 8lbs 4ounces. That day Dr Myriam Mondestin Sorrentino made me very happy. Her knowledge and expertise is beyond comparable. I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants a knowledgable, patient, experienced, thorough and professional doctor.

I am originally from Atlanta and was ordered to see Dr. Myriam due to my relocation to New Jersey for my job. My pregnancy is high-risk due to a prior surgery and I am grateful I crossed paths with Dr. Myriam. The sonogram experience was extremely thorough, she looked at the baby through a vaginal procedure and the normal abdominal ultrasound. Afterwards we had a consultation with recommendations offered about my travel schedule and working arrangements. Then Dr. Myriam personally called one of her colleagues to personally pair me with an OB doctor here in New Jersey to see me on the very next day. The entire visit was overall pleasant and I would highly recommend Dr. Myriam because she gave me a personal follow-up call at the end of the week to check-in and see how things went with her colleague.

Thorough, detailed, compassionate and professional. Has the best bed side manner. I felt like she was a gift from high above. She was instrumental in my high risk pregnancy. I’m so glad our paths crossed. I think the most invaluable part is what s great listener and caring person she is!
