My academic background includes studying Microbiology at the University of Texas at El Paso, earning my nursing degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in El Paso, and completing my Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner training at Maryville University.
I spent several years caring for patients with chronic kidney disease and those receiving dialysis. This experience gave me a deep appreciation for the connection between physical and emotional well-being, and it continues to shape how I care for my patients today. My approach is warm, collaborative, and holistic, looking at the whole picture, including physical health, sleep, lifestyle, stress, relationships, and personal goals. I want my patients to feel comfortable, heard, and involved in their care. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, exercising, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
