Dr. Myron O Luthringer, MD

I came to Dr. Luthringer after suffering for over 3 years with severe pain. His website and packets promised someone who had compassion and one who would stick with me through my chronic issues. However, he was anything but compassionate or professional. Not only did he take 17 days to give me x-ray results, which were to be there in 2 days, but he never once reviewed my medical records I provided, nor did he address the concerns I had when I met with him twice. He performed a laparoscopic surgery after finding concerns with my x-ray and ended up removing endometriosis. During my follow up I told him I was having issues with my incisions and I did not feel better pain wise. I also asked why I would have endometriosis when I had no internal parts to get that. He told me he had no idea, "could be left over", suggested I go buy a pillow to align my back and told me he could not help me if surgery did not heal me. During this interaction, I waited 45 mins in pain to see him, met with him… maybe 10 mins, in which he spent more time complaining about his pager going off than he did addressing me as a patient. I called to complain after receiving yet another bill only to find they miscoded my surgery, knowing from start what I was scheduled for, and then kicked me out of the office for complaining at all. I would suggest if you want compassion and understanding, go anywhere but him!

Dr Luthringer is terrible. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone

Thru my experience with Myron I have formed the following opinion he is a coward. He will lie and deny anything to get you to agree to his style of mutilation. It's very rare that a uterus has to be removed so when he removes your fibroid he'll steal your uterus and you have no proof it was healthy because he destroys it with a morcellator when he removes it. When you complain about the pain he's left you in, he will simply turn you away to other doctors because he doesn't deal with it. Why would he can't make any more money out for you you don't have two uteruses and that's all he cares about money. If you see this man run away. Go online do your own research

Dr Luthringer has been my OB/Gyn since my late 20's and I am now 45. I don't know where to start. He, after I had been through two other Drs, correctly diagnosed and treated severe endometriosis with the latest in robotic surgery that resulted in a very short recovery period. He also Dr'rd me through a late life pregnancy and helped keep me and my baby healthy and safe through some precarious pregnancy complications. He has always been one step ahead of the game and is thorough, intuitive, highly skilled and caring.

I've been a patient for 15 years and love him. When I was looking for an OBGYN many years ago, Dr L came highly recommended by my neighbor at the time a labor & delivery room nurse at Community.
