wonderful dr. compassionate and knowledgeable. quickly understood my medical situation. did a possible diagnosis, followed by mri and operated the next week. completely took out a liver carcinoma.

His Negligent team during the postoperative period led to the premature death of my loved one years ago. Sad to see recent reviews that his team continues to practice with negligence and some of his patients continue to have very bad outcomes. No not see this Doctor! Fight with your insurance company to see someone else.

my dad had liver cancer and he promised my dad they will not touch the tumor near the duct and will just take the tumor in the other side without touching the bile duct because if they touch it will cause the cancer to spread and causing death ... and after the surgery my dad suffered from big pain and went to the ER to figure out that they tried to remove the tumor in the bile duct but they couldn’t and the one who did it called rocky one of the DR schwartz students he let her do that to my dad while he said we will not touch it... after my dad told him why u did that to me why u let her try to remove it u said u will not do that he said u have lived with cancer for alot of years and we were expecting not all that long ... my dad since that suffering because of u and ur neglected students, u have no heart and no promises to ur patient my dad is dying because of u .. we will never forgive you

He told me my dad would live many years . He ignored treatment that my dad needed after surgery which resulted in his death . Dr Myron Schwartz response was “well what happened to your dad should not of”. He was heartless and offered not any time of help or advice when my dad was suffering. My dad’s primary doctor had to step in and call Dr.Schwarz team to say “Hey something needs to be done”.

Dr. Myron Schwartz is a has been ! He relies on his past achievements to secure his false high status as a top doctor . He’s a quack , doesn’t look you in the eye when he speaks. After he performed surgery on my dad , there was no follow up treatments or concerns. He just wanted to perform surgery because surgeons love to cut. He sat back afternoon and watched my dad die because he failed to realize the cancer returned. He never called it cancer until my dad was on his deathbed. Dr.Myron Schwartz is a heartless inadequate doctor who does not deserve the praise he receives. His staff turned on him and admitted to his errors after the death of my father. This man should be revoked if his medical license at once.

Dr. Myron Schwartz saved my mother's life. She was diagnosed with Cholangiocarcinoma. He not only successfully removed the tumor, part of her liver, and used part of small intestine as her new bile duct, but also resectioned the portal vein. He is a fabulous surgeon. My mother is now NED, no evidence of disease thanks to him and his partner. He was very available through email with any of our questions/concerns during her recovery. I can't thank him enough for taking such great care of my mother.

It is rare to meet physicians who shine with such joy and enthusiasm for what they do. He is very knowledgeable and able to communicate this knowledge with clarity and in plain English. He takes time with each patient to understand who you are as well as your case. VERY impressive. And they give you apple juice and cookies! What more can you ask for?

He'll tell you what you want to hear, which is seldom the truth. Totally underestimates the severity of your situation, slanders his peers at other medical institutions, and generally misleads you into thinking that your diagnosis is less devastating than it actually is. Not helpful, at all.
