Dr. Naaznin Lokhandwala, MD

I have had nothing but a bad experience with this provider. In all, she seems uninterested in listening to her patients and eager to get them out of the room quickly even if they have side effects, questions, or concerns. I am also shocked at her seeming lack of knowledge on thyroid diseases and their links to glucose control and diabetes.

I've been a patient of Dr. Lokhandwala for ten years and I highly recommend her. She is a great listener, very encouraging and tries to help you find solutions to your health problems. She talks with you, not at you. She takes the time to get to know you. She doesn't rush your appointment and clearly explains the benefits and risks if she does suggest a medication. She encourages me to make healthier life choices and I really appreciate her positive reinforcement and reminders of the benefits of making healthier choices. If you need an endocrinologist you should try Dr. Lokhandwala.

I've been seeing Dr. Lokhandwala for my Type 2 diagnosis for a couple years now. I have found her to be an upbeat, positive and a humbled professional in her field. I truly appreciate how she has always taken the time to talk with me and the advice she has offered on how smallest of changes can improve my life with diabetes. She is direct, but positive when discussing the consequences of not treating your diabetes. She’ll highlight factors (i.e. diet, lack of exercise) that are contributing to my diabetes, but in the same breathe she’ll offer solutions and counseling on how I can fix it. I look forward to my continued treatment from Dr. Lokhandwala for years to come. If you are looking for a doctor who is knowledgeable, caring and supportive as a professional in the field of endocrinology, I absolutely recommend Dr. Lokhandwala.

I have been a patient of Dr. Lokhandwala's for over 8 years. Each and every time I meet with her, she is very professional. She goes out of her way to make a connection with her patients beyond just their medical care. I always feel that if I have any problems at all, she is looking for ways to address the issue. Dr. Lokhandwala prides herself in making sure each patient is receiving the best possible care even to go as far as speaking with insurance companies so that they will cover the necessary items which are crucial for treatment. I never feel as if I am just another number, but rather a valued patient. I cannot express how grateful I am to have her as my doctor and I look forward to many years to come under her care.

Since going to her my sugar counts are ok. Very friendly and treats her patience like human not just money. I am more the pleased to say she is my doctor.

NOT Plus size friendly. Made many remarks against my size. Her knowledge of new studies of T3 receptors and T4 was really good. Her fat shaming, on the other hand was very unprofessional. I feel like she did not listen to me when I was explaining my lifestyle and she made her own conclusions about it by my size.

Doesn't listen to my concerns. She just wants you to listen not talk. I'm Very frustrated and am looking for a better doctor. I only changed doctors for the distance but I regret it.

Dr. Naaznin tells it like it is. She does not sugar coat, and she does not believe in drug based feel good medicine. She has an excellent knowledge and will tell you exactly what you need to do in order to be well. She will not hold your hand, or placate any phobia you may have. She is professional and kind hearted and one of the best doctors in the country in her field. If you see Dr. Naaznin, count yourself fortunate.
