Dr. Nabil Milad Jabbour, MD

Dr. Jabbour is an excellent eye specialist. He has been working with me for about 2 years and has really helped with the treatments for the macular degeneration that I am experiencing. His staff is also excellent, cares about patients and are very helpful. We are very pleased with everything concerning Dr. Jabbour and his staff.

Dr. Jabbour is a brilliant and caring man. Yes...you must give him time to go over the details before he will answer your questions. He is truthful and objective. This man saved me from being blind. Two very successful detached retina surgeries. I am now 20/20. What more can I say?

I am 38 years old and was referred to Jabbour. He has a very rude bedside manner. During my first and only visit there, he came into the room, looked over my test, totally ignoring me and the questions I was asking and starts writing in my chart, never saying a word to me the whole time. Then he rudely looked at me and said can you please be quiet while I write my notes and then I will answer your questions. Once he got down writing his notes, he got up and told me he would see me in a month and then he would answer my questions then and tell me what was wrong with me at my next visit. When I asked him if he could answer any of my questions, he flat out told me no that I had to come back to see him before he could answer any of my questions. But he could charge me for $300 for that visit. I found a new doctor who told me after doing the same test that Dr. Jabbour did in one visit that I have Macular Degeneration. I will never go back to him. He is nothing but a money racket… and doesn't care about his patients!!

He gave me 3 failed procedures and 1 failed surgery, thousands of dollars, and wanted to do a scleral buckle to boot. His laser is old. I went elsewhere in town, got top notch care, 1 laser treatment (latest technology) fixed everything. Do not trust Dr Jabbour

He is the best eye doctor. I am young and he makes you feel at ease even when you are scared. It's worth the wait to see him.

During the course of 5+ years, every (scheduled) appointment wait time has been over 2 hours. In the occasion of two visits my wait was over 4 hours! When called by the assistant I am placed in a second waiting room where the wait continues.Numerous times I have witnessed patients exhausting the oxygen in their portable tanks and having to send for a new tank. Despite the fact that the past 3 years I have received no treatment for my condition (I am told there has been no change in my condition), yet, I am advised to reschedule every 3 months. I am on Medicare with a limited income and have a $20 copay for each visit. When given a diagnositc test rarely,I am rarely provided the results and am required to schedule a return apointment to review the results. Again~ I am on Medicare with a limited income and have a $20 copay for each visit. It would be beneficial to:1.) Take into consideration the disatnce the patients travel (my drive one way is 75 minutes)2.) Provide patients the… results of their test the day testing was provided.3.) Remember each person is an individual with independent needs.. NOT EVERY PATIENT NEEDS TO BE SEEN EVERY 3-6 MONTHS! 4.) No schedlued appointment wait should be more than a maximum of 30 minutes. 5.) Remember we (your) patients are your business, we deserve to be treated with respect in reagrds to time, finances and security in the knowledge our well-being is a priority.
