Dr. Nabil Fawzi Saba, MD

This doctor always had an excuse after you spent waiting on him for almost 2 hours. Bedside manner none. Told my husband that even though he had lung cancer and esophageal cancer since he wasn't experiencing any problems, no treatment needed. What kind of a doctor says that and especially a specialist.

We arrived for our 9 AM appointment only to be seen at 10 till 10. The office staff was very polite, but informed us that Dr. Saba "was nowhere to be found". When he did come to see us he was rude and blunt about my wife's complications from her most recent chemo saying "you're just going to get sicker until you die". We ended up being admitted to the hospital and we never saw Dr.Saba during our hospital stay. He never called or checked up on us. We were taken care of by the Hospital doctors and released 4 days later.My wife is doing well now, but I would never go back to see Dr.Saba.

Dr Saba was very willing to take me quickly for review of my case for a 2nd opinion without knowing whether I would choose him as my primary doctor or not. He also offered to call my primary oncologist and let him know why he disagreed medically with the treatment regimen that had been prescribed, which is the primary reason I chose Dr Saba to be my oncologist. He is matter of fact and thorough in his diagnoses and communication. He is willing to listen to new ideas and will give his honest medical opinion on their effectiveness, and he does not discourage integrative treatment as long as he is aware of it and it does not interfere with the standard treatment. I do not hesitate to recommend Dr Saba.

"Dr." Saba is arrogant, does the minimal amount of research (if any) in fact his assistant Googled the ame of the sarcoma I have in front of my wife and I. His "staff" and the entire Emory Healthcare system has a pervasive sense of apathy. It's a job at Emory not a passion as it should be. If you have any other option use it!!!!
