Dr. Nada A Abdelbasit, MD

Dr Abdelbasit has been my Mother's primary care physician for several years. My Mother has Parkinson's and her health + finances dictate that she needs Medicaid long term care. Dr Abdelbasit refuses to fill out the paperwork that the long term care facility is required by the state to obtain. To be clear, it's not that there is any disagreement as to what my Mother's health is, the Dr just won't fill out the the required paperwork. Also to be clear, we are talking about a few pages with routine medical questions that would be easy for the Dr (or her staff) to complete. This is causing my Mother, to be stuck in a living situation where she isn't getting the care she needs. Ultimately, I'm sure we will get one of my Mother's specialists to assist us. But Dr Abdelbassit's actions have set my Mom back several weeks. In that time, she has had several instances where she needed more care than she received. If you or one of your loved ones is a senior citizen or an otherwise vulnerable… person, I would strongly consider avoiding this Dr.

If you like dealing with the rudest front desk ladies ever, the doctor having a complete disregard for your health, having it be nearly impossible to get a referral or a medication refill then this is the place you. I mean the doctor literally googled my symptoms in the room in front of me! I worked in a medical office for over two years i have never seen an office so poorly run. switched doctors

Aug. 2018 my new DR did a few simple lab tests and already figured out my issue after the 1st visit to the office! (Which by the way makes me more at risk for stroke and certain cancers.) Plain and simple, it was an issue of neglect on Ms. Abdelbasit's part.

If you need any medical assistance this is not the doctor to go to. She is not open on Fridays and does not call back with test results. Had issues over a year ago that I still deal with. She basically told me that I'm lazy which is not the case at all. (I teach weekly DANCE classes!) Called to tell her the medication I have is not working, was told to go to Urgent Care to see if there was anything they could do to help me. She is not in a hurry to give referrals or help get needed medical attention if something is actually wrong.

Oh boy, yo call the office to schedule an appointment and all you get is a very RUDE person on the line. Her name is Karen. It sure wasn't like this when Dr. Ring had the practice. Thank goodness for the other 2 girls working there.
