Dr. Nada Al-Skaf, MD

Dr. Nada was condescending elitist and completely disconnected. When she did speak she was rude: Verbally making fun of my footwear, audibly scoffing; beyond unprofessional. She should not be practicing. I was seeing her for a second opinion which she actually chastised me for doing. (?) We must demand better care as consumers and patients. Awful awful awful.

She seems to not really care for the patients, and took no time to get to know me. I felt like I was being accused of wanting heavy medications even though I never take them and you can see it just by looking at my records. She basically looked down on me several times rolling her eyes and when examining me she forced my body to do things it couldn't, even after I told her it hurt and wincing in pain. I was just a number to her a pay check. She gave me the feeling that most people do that later tell me all I need to do is loose weight.

Her staff are polite and kind, you don't have to wait long to get in to see her, her appointments begin on time. If you're seeing her for fibromyalgia, you might as well just take some ibuprofen and stay at home. She was okay with my pain level being 5/10. (I wasn't!) When I mentioned symptoms such as weakness, balance difficulty, and numbness in extremities (which are recognized by the American Fibromyalgia Syndrome Association), she told me that she didn't know why I was having them but they weren't associated with fibromyalgia. When I asked her, a specialist, to refer me to a support group in my area, she told me that I should look on Facebook to find one.

Dr. Skaf is top notch in her practice.
