Dr. Kawar gave me one of the worst experiences I ever had with a physician. She was extremely rude to me and cancelled my surgery last minute less than a week before the surgery date. My first appt with her she was nice and had a medical student with her. My second appt, she made me wait 40 minutes and she wasn't even with a patient, just in her office alone and acted annoyed when I complained to the receptionist about the long wait time. When I called with questions and clarification, she didn't seem eager or willing to answer my questions, instead she sounded angry and would often interrupt me and make me think I was wasting her time. Very cold demeanor. Terrible, terrible, terrible!!!

She was very rude to me and didn’t listen. She acted like I took up her time. Rolled her eyes at me, interrupted. She’s in the wrong profession and shouldn’t ever be caring for patients.

I am so grateful that I was referred to Dr Kawar a little over 3 years ago after being in great pain for 2 years. And in many cases treated " like a number in a computer". She is highly skilled, very compassionate and caring, and has always unfailingly answered any questions or concerns I have had. Even though she is an Oncologist with a very busy schedule I have never felt rushed, even though I see her every 3 months, since my surgery 3 years ago. I feel total confidence in the care I have received from her and appreciate that she treats me as a "whole person", and truly listens, which these days is often not the norm in health care. I would give her more than 5 stars if I could!

Dr. Kawar is the most caring and compassionate doctor I have ever been to. She took so much time to explain things to me. She called me at home with results of the CT scan, after hours because she knows I am very anxious and wanted to know the results right away. The surgery went so well, and I recovered quickly. I have endometrial cancer, and I know I am in the best hands.

The absolute best doctor ever. Makes you completely comfortable upon meeting her. Genuine concern and compassion. Honest and straightforward with what to expect.

Dr. Kawar operated on me twice and both times she was caring and answered all my questions. She's very down to earth and easy to talk to. She took very good care of me.

Spoke to her on-call. It was beyond noisy when she called me back, kids screaming and I could barely hear her. It's the weekend but she could have at least gone to a quiet area to call a patient back. Anyway, she said she'd call in a script. I checked with my pharmacy and they never received it. I called again today and pharmacy still didn't receive it. I called the doctor back and she was rude saying she already sent script electronically. I told her they did not receive it and asked if she sent it to the correct pharmacy, she confirmed and snapped that she'd call them. Five minutes later, the total wrong pharmacy calls me back and said my script has been ready since yesterday. She's snippy and rude toward me ( felt like I was bothering her) while she made an error. Errors happen and can be fixed but be respectful of people in the first place. I think doctors should learn how to be sensitive toward patients in med school, or at least learn some manners at home. This is ridiculous.
