Dr. Nadarajan Janakan, MD

Misdiagnosed by another doctor, my husband almost died. I took him to Dr. Janakan and he immediately found out what was wrong and hospitalized him. Dr. Janakan is so kind and compassionate. He doesn't blow you off or act too busy. Very great man and doctor.

I was admitted to Beaumont on 7-23-19 with blood clots in my leg & both lungs. I didnt have a Beaumont dr so Dr. Janakan was assigned to me. 1st impressions are everything & he definitely won me over with his compassion & caring personality. He was very knowledgeable & helped me alot when it came to answering questions that concerned me about my condition. He was absolutely awesome. Thankyou Dr. Janakan

I've been going to Dr. Janakan for about 7-8 years now. He was my "client's" doc prior to that. Watching him with her made my decision to choose him as MY physician. He is the type of doc that will pull up a chair and actually listen to your complaints, not stand in the doorway looking like he's trying to escape!! He doesn't overly prescribe and he looks at your WHOLE picture - not just your complaint. I highly recommend him!!

DR.J as I call him is down to earth, compassionate and thorough.. he is patient and listens to all of your needs. As a woman he makes me feel comfortable, and takes my womanly issues seriously while showing compassion. He has treated our family for some life threatening issues, diagnosed my cancer early and successfully treated it, as well as managed my diabetes and high blood pressure..I absolutely love him.. he's the best !! When I was in the hospital through another physician in 2002, I had a total hysterectomy and the doctor Who did the surgery was not giving me my medication I take. I kept telling the nurses but I had no help in the matter. My blood pressure was high. I took the phone by my bed in the hospital and I called my Internist, Dr. Janakan. He came to the hospital right away and made sure I was given my medication. I can't tell you enough how this made me feel safe and secure to know my doctor cared to come and check me to be sure I was alright. Also he worked with me & my brother when I lost my job. He continued to treat both me and my brother. He is an extraordinary doctor and person. He is always there when we need him. His office always fits us in for appointments. The staff is very good. I love my Dr. Janakan. I just want to tell you thank you from Keith & myself. You are truly what a doctor should be and more. You go above and beyond your duty to help us. I thank you, God… thanks you, my mother & father thank you. I believe they know the great work you do and we are in good hands. We love you Dr. Janakan for all you do.
