Dr. Akhtar was the best doctor I have ever seen. He really cares. He spent time to explain everything to me.

This doctor is horrible. He is always late (more than 2 hours) and is just a money hustler

My family and I had almost given up on finding a Dr we like since moving to Al about three years ago. Dr Akhtar has changed all that we think he is the best and friendliest Dr we have seen since moving to Al

Went to see Dr. Ahktar the other day around 2:45pm. I went back about 20 min after my appointment (to be fair I called and asked if I could come in early and they said yes) I sat in the office after they took my blood pressure and weight. I sat for about 15 more min until the Nurse came in and asked me some questions. Few min later the Doctor came in. He sat and talked with me from roughly 3:45 until around 5:15. An hour and half he spoke with me about my condition and what I could do to fix my situation. What Dr does this? I have NEVER been to a Dr who would commit that much time with a patient. I was truly impressed and felt blessed. I dont think I will ever see another Doctor now and will see him until he retires or moves far away. He is extremely smart and very sharp Doctor who is very compassionate. I would recommend him for anyone. What an amazing Doctor AND human being.

Very good and caring physician. Most staff are rude; especially the nurse that handles bringing you back-ugh!

very caring, understanding and willing to help dr. Seems overbooked and stressed by his staff (wife mainly). Spends more time in the room with patients than any other doctor I have ever met! On the other hand, his staff is rude, hard to contact, and unpleasant to deal with.
