Dr. Nader Ibrahim Ganim, MD

At first, things with Dr. Ganim seemed super hopeful. I had been searching for almost a year for the right doctor and he finally seemed like a good fit. He prescribed me with medications that drastically improved my mental health and after a few visits, I finally started to feel like me again. However, this suddenly changed about 6 months into my time with him. He became less and less available to meet in person. I even scheduled and confirmed an in-person appointment with his virtual assistant but when I showed up, he was not there. After reaching out, the "assistant" told me that he no longer did in-person visits, a fact that was not made known prior. I was still charged for my appointment and paid because I needed a new prescription. Things pretty much went downhill from there as the next 6 months following that incident consisted of me reaching out for an appointment and getting either no response, or told that he was on vacation. I understand everyone has a life but it really felt… like this guy totally neglected me and ghosted his responsibility as a doctor . His "assistant" eventually stopped responding altogether and now I've been without medication for almost 2 months and am in search of a new doctor....so yeah, he's not consistent AT ALL.

He seemed like an empathetic good doctor. But then he flaked and missed my appointment. And was always coming up with excuses and emergencies for weeks.

I really enjoyed the convenience of meeting online and his consultation was pretty good. However, after a few months of seeing him I reached out for another appointment and still haven't received a response.. I have tried contacting him multiple times. The least he could have done was set an out of office or let me know he no longer practices. I have no clue what happened but it's just unacceptable. It's unfortunate that I'll need to search for a new doctor while I can't even get a refill on my medication.

Dr. Ganim was a nice guy when we met, so I gave him the benefit of the doubt a few times. However, when he steps away from work he has a virtual assistant responding, which in my opinion is hurting his business. I had numerous times where medication information sent in was incorrect, which would not allow me to get the script filled. Unfortunately, in this field there is not much room for error. There were a few miscommunications over how often we would meet, which again, held up scripts. Finally, when having depressive episodes, I missed our scheduled tele-meet, which is a convenient way to meet during difficult times. I then reached an hour after and was told the following day that he was gone for four days and to go to a hospital if it was an emergency. Not until I told the assistant that I would not longer be requiring his services did I then receive the response that he can see me. I understand doctors have lives, but there is a level of care and responsibility excepted for… psychiatrists. I need to know my doctor has my back, and I did not feel like this doctor did.
