Dr. Nadia Amal Awad, MD

Dr.Awad failed to contact me the evening prior to my surgery. I was provided with the incorrect time to arrive for the procedure and was informed that due to an emergency my surgery was cancelled. This after traveling 45 minutes to Einstein Hospital. I was not called, texted or Emailed prior to arriving at the hospital that the procedure was cancelled. She didn't even have the courtesy to call me and apologize. Maybe it was a God send that she didn't perform the surgery as she is not fit to be a vascular surgeon. Be safe and find a competent surgeon that adheres to communicating with their patients.

Although I've only had two visits with Dr. Nadia Award, she is obviously competent in the area of vascular disease. She sat down with me and took time to explain my condition as well as answered any questions I had. I would most definitely refer family and friends to her!
