Dr. Nadia Khoury, MD

Absolutely the worst bedside manner! Dr Khoury insisted I change my medication and dosage even though I was feeling great. This made my blood levels spike, and I became practically lethargic. She then refused to share my medical notes with me. According to Dr. Khoury her notes "are not in my medical record." She also complained about another doctor I had seen and flat out said that she "doesn't like her." This doctor has a terrible attitude. I would not recommend this doctor.

~this is from when I was 16 years old.I'm now 21~ Her father was my dad's endocrinologist, and he had diabetes since his thirties/forties. So naturally my mom thought it would be nice if she would be my endo as both my sister and I had PCOS with classic signs. But Nadia didn't see it that way, she thought we both had type 2 diabetes and gave us metformin and basically said to lose weight and our problems with go away. Welp I'm 21, still fat. But I recently found out-after multiple doctors telling me to stay on it- I don't have insulin resistance! I had such terrible menstrual bleedings before getting treated with Hormones; and it only got heavier while on metformin! Its gotten better without them; but I still have a light period for months long.I went to look at old test results hoping what could cause my month long periods, to bring up to my gyno. And I stumbled on a test for 17a-hydroxyprogesterone- something the adrenal glands make; and it was WAY high for a minor… on hormones to make! women on hormones make 250~ as it states on the standard range guide under my value. my value was 448! that of a grown woman thats not on hormones! at the time of the Test I was on hormones for three years! so it was quite obvious that was weird. now I have go to another endo to find what that is about- because PCOS women are supposed to have low 17a-OHP. and the test that goes with it is ACTH and all she ordered was the baseline; not the stimulated test needed to know if something is wrong. save your time and money. avoid at all costs.

Very RUDE receptionist! Good doctors but the rudeness is NOT acceptable! Will Never go back!

Dr. Khoury is very efficient and makes a patient feel very comfortable. Would recommend her to anyone looking for an endocrinologist.

Spends plenty of time with patients & seems to care but office is cluttered & full of very outdated info. Large piece of blue tape holds door knob on (old, nasty looking) door. Doctor's lab coat was very dirty. 21 year old poster said "never wear garters!". Rx pad was sitting out on counter in exam room entire time we were in it (without staff/Dr in room). Many expired items (including meds!) in exam rooms: hand sanitizer expired FIVE YEARS AGO! No one washed their hands before patient contact.
