Nadia Pletukhina, MD

I have seen Dr. Pletukhina several times since 2018, and have found her to be a very caring and competent doctor. She actively listens, and then asks the right questions to better understand what the patient is experiencing. Her examination is thorough, and I feel confident in her abilities. Her follow-up care has been really appreciated. I have taken one of my elderly friends to see her at NYU Langone, and the care and time Dr. Pletukhina spent with her convinced me that she is not only a fine doctor, but an exceptional human being.

Wonderfully kind and attentive. Very concerned about my medical care, and goes out of her way to check up on me in between appointments. Very proactive.

I had to wait 6 weeks for an appointment, but when I showed up a whopping 13 minutes late, Dr. Pletukhina absolutely refused to see me. Confusion had sent me to the wrong location, whose receptionist called to let the correct office know I'd be ~10 minutes late. When I got there, they told me I'd have to reschedule, with the next available appointment being ANOTHER 8 weeks out. They also claimed to have tried calling me, but the number she read to me was completely wrong (and didn't match the number that received an SMS appointment reminder). My appointment was further to a concerning test result, and in 30 years, I've never had a doctor refused to see me for being a few minutes late. But I guess 4:30 on a Friday, the Hamptons are calling ...
