Dr. Naeem Aftab

It seems like he has some attitude problem. I wouldn't be surprised if I came to know that he needs psychiatric help himself. Mostly dreaming about something on his own and never seems to be actually listening to you or your issues.

I was a patient for 2 years with this doctor. I was very insistent about being taken off the medication I was on, my depression was worsening and my suicidal impulses were increasing. Every time I saw him, I would bring it up, and his response was "We will talk more about that next month." He would then rewrite my script, take my copay, and hustle me out the door. I finally cracked, ended up in a hospital for 3 weeks after a serious suicide attempt. Upon leaving I refused to see him, refused to take my medication, and 2 years later I am happier and much, much more successful than I have been before. I am not saying medication is wrong for everyone, I was a unique case, but this doctor would never listen to a word I had to say. His ignorance to the issues at hand nearly resulted in my death at 20 years old. After leaving the hospital and getting off the drugs, my father received a call from him wondering when the next time we would be in. Never bothered to ask how his former patient… was. Never came to see me in the hospital. He is a joke, and I would be very cautious about dealing with him. I would rarely be in his office for more than 5 to 10 minutes before he would "finish" his assessment, during which most time was spent looking for my file. If I was the first patient there that day as he was coming in from wherever else, he would be at minimum of 10 to 15 minutes late, there would be a small line as he would "accidentally" schedule two people at the same time (something that happened more than once). I would recommend no one ever goes to this money hungry doctor, find someone that will listen to you, and actually spend time to get to know you, not treat you as someone helping to pay for his car and vacations and nothing more.

I went to see him.He made me feel very relaxed.He accurately diagnosed my condiotion and treated me.In one week I was feeling much better.
