As a health care professional who has worked in oncology and hospice, I can easily say how appalled I am at how he treated my father. At the first and only meeting he appeared kind, but then he washed his hands of my father by not providing appropriate options since treatment was "most likely" impossible. You don't tell a person with terminal cancer who has lost 30 pounds in one month to continue tests that aren't necessary and come back at the end of another month. It took 3 people to get my father back and forth to two tests, which were tortuous for him. 2 weeks later he ended up in the ER and finally, the ER doctor from Boston looked at the same imaging scans this doctor looked at and was honest with my father and us. Thank goodness for the ER doctor. He took over and was able to get my father on hospice just in time for him to pass in peace at home.

He is the Best doctor.

We met Dr. Tahir when my elderly mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. He was very calm, very attentive, allowing time to absorb what he was saying. Very low pressure. I would highly recommend him as this is a very delicate situation with a very aged individual and he continues to handle it with grace and sensitivity.
