Dr. Naeem Khan Tahirkheli, MD

I am a 75 year old woman who suffers from bi-polar disorder. Today's health care providers seem frustrated & annoyed with my inability to catch on to what I'm up against and what is expected from me to properly carry out the recommended treatment plan. My first impression was, oh my, this health care provider is like all the others. As the busy cardiologist hurried to the door enroute to deal with another patient's needs he stopped. Dr. Tahirkheli turned, and I could see a shift in his demeanor. I knew, he knew, I would be leaving with unanswered questions. It was then, Dr. Tahurkheli internalized all my fears, the worst being unable to miss anymore work, and the recommended tests that lay ahead that would take weeks to finalize. Well, with a new resolve, Dr. Tahirkheli did not leave to take on another patient's needs. He stayed with me until he was sure I understood what options would benefit me best. Encouraged, I asked Dr. Tahirkheli if he would indulge this old woman and listen to… a favorite prayer. He nodded. I took his hands into mine, then recited the prayer. When I finished, I left Dr. Tahirkheli's clinic feeling recovery was in my future. I also arrived at a new conclusion when it came to Healthcare providers. I knew in my heart, that description did not measure up to the cardiologist that redefined what I'm about to explain. There ARE new norm healthcare providers but then there ARE ALSO, Old Norm Healthcare providers, who in my estimation are those doctors who are DOCTORS. My final thoughts, I address to Dr. Tahirkheli. A mere thank you seems so inadequate. I pray the time I spent on this review will result in a template that will serve as a guide to inspire phycians to see that every patients' needs are addressed before moving on to the next. In addition, Dr. Tahirkheli's medical team gets a five star times ten "Bravo." Incidentally, A Simple Act of Prayer, became the catalyst that ignited answered prayers. Blessings. I had signs of blockage for almost a year and we blown off. Went to heart hospital south and met Dr. T. And he listened to me and had to put 3 stets in my widow maker 3 months apart. I came close to dieing. Thank god for my heart doc. Dr. T.

About two weeks before my appointment, I fainted. The ER doctor told me to see my primary care physician and my cardiologist. I went to my primary and everything was fine. I really only called Dr. Tahirkheli's office so I could tell them to get the records from the ER visit if they needed to. Dr. T wanted me to come in even though I had been to his office maybe six weeks before. They checked me out thoroughly and determined that the fainting was not related to my cardiology issues. They scheduled an ultrasound of my carotid arteries to assure any blockage was below the range for surgical intervention. Though the visit didn't last very long it was clear that Dr. T wanted to assure everything was fine with me.

He and his team are very good at what they do!! They have helped me mentally as well as physically thank you for everything you guys have done keep up the good work

After checking in I was called to a room within 5 minutes. The nurse, PA and Dr all addressed my concerns for my visit with great detail and have me on the right track to make sure nothing strange is going on. If they do find something with the few test they have scheduled for me, I have complete confidence that it will be handled with compassion, patience and great knowledge!

His staff is courteous, kind, attentive, caring, serious, dedicated, warm and gracious. I love his entire staff! I've never had a bad day at Dr. Tahirkhelli's office. I will be forever in his debt for saving my life, and his staff was excellent and professional at all times.

I was recommended by family to come and see Dr. Tahirkheli because I couldn't walk from the couch to a chair or I would just get so tired. That's when Dr. T said I had A-fib and he could take of me. I now have a pacemaker and I do yoga and jayrotonics once a week for an hour and feel amazing! He is the best doctor ever.

I trust Dr. T and would recommend him to others. It is usually a lengthy wait, but I never feel slighted. His staff is great and explains when needed. I dont feel rushed with him.
