Dr. Naga Raja Thota, MD

As a former patient, it angers me to hear about everything this doctor has done (sexual allegations and more) and yet still managed to practice. A doctor is suppose to look after your health, not manipulate you and getting you hooked on opiates. As many have said in these reviews, the doctor's greed knows no bounds. I would not be surprised if he was just prescribing every patient opiates just to keep them coming back so he can bill them. As I recall, he even prescribed me multiple opiate prescriptions. The only reason that I mention it, is that the pain doctors whom came after him were utterly confused as to why he had done it. He was also very short-tempered as well. I recall him yelling at me for asking for a post-dated script because of a vacation. I believe his words were "No appt.? No script!" (I had been a patient for about 8months at the time). Not to mention the 1.5+ hours wait in the waiting room because they would overbook appts. All of these discrepencies were… viewed from a male perspective. I can't imagine what type of abuse his females patients were suffering for having the mistake of putting your trust in a doctor. Hopefully this physician will lose his ability to practice. But until then, if you truly need help then FIND ANOTHER PAIN DOCTOR. Or you will just end up another one of his victims.

Dr Thota made it possible for me to continue to work when I had kidney cancer. Waiting room was terrible, & over booked every time. I saw him more than the assistant.

Very poor management. Needed my medical records for I was moving out of state & I was lied to about everything from the price to when they were mailed.....still didn't receive them yet. As far as Dr. Thota, he only seems interested as long as he gets his money but when you stop going to him he won't even speak to you.

I really enjoy having Dr. Thota as a specialist. He is good at what he does in my opinion. He also has a great sense of humor which is refreshing.

This man is only concerned about making money off of his patients That's why he lost his license for a month get em in the office give em drugs that's what he is about. I do not recommend him. Being in a real pan clinic with all the support in the world I was able to live my dosage. I'd you just want the meds and no support then you found the right doctor!!!!!!!

This doctor is incredible. He knew exactly what to do and how to treatment my 2 chronic dibilitating diseases, Instead of being in severe pain and in bed he has managed through his treatment to keep me out of the hospital and at work for the paast 5 years. I owe this doctor so many thank you's for keeping me an active part of society.

I have had other pain doctors and they never listened or cared like Dr. THOTA. He actually met me at his office on Christmas once so I would not have to wait 5 hours at ER. I've seen them pick patients up from home who could not get a ride any other way. I read the reviews and am surprised. I did not find him to be disrespectful at all. I have a pain pump and he helped me tremendously. I've seen pain medication seekers in many doctors offices. So yes if your just trying to get med's and don't really need them i think that all doctors get upset over this. I think he's very knowledgeable and very caring. Everybody has personality issues with someone at one time or another. Doctors too. But i have never seen a doctor go so out of his way for patients. I always recommend him.

Due to several major and varied health issues I have had to spend a life time under doctors care. This doctor, and his staff are INCREDIBLE. The care is above and beyond what you normally recieve. If you have chronic pain, this doctor can and will help. I have been treated by four other doctors for my pain, I am very pleased with his depth of understanding and treatment of pain.

I'm so glad I got an appointment with Dr. Thota..he got me on the correct pain medicine for my arthritis and I'm able to go thru the day like I use to..pain free.. thank you,..thank you../

Very experienced, kind and good bed side manners. Knows what medication to sue to manage my pain. Explainns about medication and lets you know what to expect. Makes him sefl available for urgent matters. He is a very compendent in the field of pain management.
