After receiving a trial of morphine for my brother's chronic pain, we were told we would receive a call the next day. We asked if a patch or anything else would be an option as the morphine injection did not seem to help. Again was told would ask Dr. U. and call us. Two weeks later and numerous messages no call back. Very unprofessional.

The wait was long, but he was worth the wait. Great Doctor. Great bedside manner. Actually takes the time to speak to the patient and most importantly listens to the patient. He cares, he is kind and compassionate. He took the time to literally use a prop to show and explain my issue. He had a plan immediately and executed it. He was open and receptive to my questions and concerns. He fully answered my questions and I left knowing I was on the right track to relief. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

I’ve been seeing Dr. U for two years now. I’ve read all the reviews prior to keeping my second appointment. I have to say that while I read many complaints- those patients had a choice. They simply didn’t want to take responsibility for the decisions they made and choose to blame Dr. U for their not healing, medications not being filled- yada yada yada. In the end, I have to admit I’ve worked in the medical field- it’s not an easy job- but patients need to remain informed and make their own decisions. If you feel a doctor isn’t right for you- find another. If the meds or procedures aren’t helping, discuss them at your appointment - when you have the doctor IN FRONT OF YOU. Ok enough of that. My experience has been a bit of both. I am benefiting from the medication but still have discomfort. These aren’t miracle meds, and Dr. U isn’t God. I’ve discussed further possibilities and know whole heartedly he is not only listening- but does what he can to make sure I feel better until further… exams can be made, as well as helping me understand that my other laundry list of illnesses can be a source of intervention that could be causing my symptoms to remain stagnant or worsen. These are all things everyone should think about instead of writing harsh unwarranted reviews. I enjoy his bedside manner and professionalism- I can ask his staff to relay my questions and make sure they understand what I’m trying to communicate. It’s happened- they didn’t get it. So...I made an appointment so I can talk to him myself. Viola. How easy was that? If you’re looking for a miracle go to church- otherwise I believe Dr. U is a great doc who does what he can.

I am a patient of Dr. U I had major back surgery in 2012 I tried p.t. and acupuncture to control the pain, I also was taking many pain meds. I met Dr. U and he started giving me injections to help relieve the pain. He then suggested a pain pump. He installed it into my back and from the first day I have felt such relief. I am no longer taking any meds for pain. Dr. U is a very considerate physician he worries and checks up on his patients constantly. I had lived in pan for so long until Dr. U that I consider him the best thing to have ever happened to me.

He’s such a wonderful doctor that’s takes his time with each patient ,listens does his research. He’s the best doctor I have ever came across. Thanks doc for taking care of my medical needs. God bless

Dr. Upadhyayul did a Cervical Radiofrequency Ablation on my neck and I have been pain free since. It has been two years now and I feel great. I came to Dr. Upadhyayula from another pain doctor who could not help me and told me to just deal with the pain. Dr. U helped me be pain free. He is a great doctor. Thank you Dr. U.

I am fed up with the lack of patience concern that this doctor has. I have a prescription that must be filled today and was just told by the operator that the Doctor is on vacation and won't be back for 8 days. In the past the doctor has always made sure that all prescriptions were sent in to the pharmacy prior to him being way. The care by this doctor has been going down hill for a very long time and this is the icing on the cake. If you truly need pain management care go some where else, don't waste your time with this so called doctor.
