Finished pre-med and medical school at Alexandria University Faculty of Medicine, graduating in the top 1% with honors. She completed her pediatric internship and residency at Alexandria University Hospitals followed by a pediatric residency at Ochsner where she served as chief resident. Dr. Schourbaji is board certified in pediatrics and has been a full time member of Ochsner's pediatric staff since 1985. She has numerous international patients from different ethnic backgrounds. She speaks fluent English, Arabic, and French. Dr. Schourbaji was the Chairman of the Child Protection Committee for several years and has special interest in the area of child mistreatment as well as general pediatrics.
