Dr. Nagy Rostom Kheir, MD

Dr. Kheir is a terrible psychiatrist. Incredibly rude and hard to interact with. I've never met such an unpleasant person. He has no compassion and even worse bedside manner. Extremely unprofessional and judgmental with his comments. He Asked me totally inappropriate questions about my sex life. I filed a recipient rights complaint when I was hospitalized at Pontiac general hospital with concerns about his unlawful practices, but my concerns were never addressed. I was not surprised because the hospital is a terrible place, and no one cares about patients there. I felt more depressed and hopeless there than when I first went in and my medications were not working. I was scared to say anything because Dr. kheir was threatening to take patients to court if they don’t take their medications. He did it to my roommate and it belonged her hospital stay. I sure hope he loses his license.

I have never seen this Dr..nor will he call me regarding my sons care. I have repeatedly expressed my concerns about the medication my son is on to the nurses and also the social worker in charge of his case whom I was able to talk to once. No one listens to you and I am the one person that knows him the best. My son is in worse shape then he was currently.

Horrible doctor, placed my sister on medications she was addicted to in the past even though we made it so clear to him that she is not suppose to have it. discharged her from hospital and sent her home without any prescription. i made it so clear that whe was not ready to be discharged, but no one cares! 2 days later, she is at home, in much worse conditon that she was when she was admited. someone should be responisble for this!

He gave me a prescription that I think is totally inappropriate for me and would not explain why. His manner was rude.

I would recommend him to any psychiatric patient.

He listens and understands. He helped me a lot.
