Keep away. Some people aren’t meant to be doctors.

I am a 59 year old female who went to Forbes ER because I was experiencing heart attack symptoms. After running some tests that were normal, except for a temperature and a higher than normal d-dimer test (which could indicate a blood clot), he advised me to stay for observation and more tests. I took his advice, and learned that my heart is just fine, but I have a peptic ulcer which can manifest with symptoms that mimic a heart attack, as it did in my case. Not terrible but if untreated it can lead to bad things. I don't fault Dr. Taki for being cautious and think it is much worst for doctors to be cavalier about patient's complaints. I work in the legal field and have seen situations where a patient is sent home and dies, exactly as Dr. Taki has told other people who have given him a poor rating. Better to find out why someone has come to the ER than to dismiss them. Dr. Taki does not give off a warm fuzzy feeling, but I wasn't there to make friends.

My daughter went to Forbes for Covid . This doctor terrified my teen, telling her that she may end up on a ventilator and that many teens have died from Covid. He provided no comfort, no compassion, no help. We then went to another Er in town, who told us that we have no worries, that her vitals are great and that a 100% recoverywas assured!! I will NEVER go to any hospital that would employ this fraudster Stay away

Went to Forbes for a discomfort in my back and chest, not a pain. Told all events leading up to why I was there. Sight pain, lasting 5 minutes, had bowel movement, several. No blood, not pain. Threw up several times. Hospital - he sent me to get a CT scan. Found diverticulitis. In room, pressed on stomach several times. I felt he was trying to find something that wasn't there. No pain at all. He wanted me to stay overnight and have a series of test the next day. I refuse and decided to check myself out. Pressured me to stay because I might "die". I'm 75 and I thought he thought he could frightened me. Brought his PA in to try to do the same. Discharged myself, took an antibiotic (slightly high white count). There from 4 PM to 9PM. Only one other person in ER. If I go there gain and see him, I'm running!!!

You’re honestly better off getting diagnosed by a toddler that watches Doc McStuffins. He talked to us like we were hard of hearing toddlers. Was taken for a CT scan, showed nothing so let’s make the patient wait 3 more hours for a CT with contrast... ooo fancy. NOT. Had to go hunt down someone to even try to get an update as to what was even happening. If you’re having an emergency, call and ask which doctor is in the ER. If it’s Dr. Taki, go somewhere else.

Dr. Taki has the diagnostic skills of an adolescent orangutan. You are better off using WebMD to diagnose yourself. At least there's a component of critical thinking involved. If you show up at the Forbes ER you will get images of your entire body regardless of your injury.
