Dr. Najiha Farooqi is a board-certified general surgeon and surgical critical care specialist practicing at the Staten Island University Hospital- Northwell Health system. With a passion for providing exceptional patient care, Dr. Farooqi considers her patients as her family and strives to offer them the best possible treatment options.Dr. Farooqi completed her medical degree at Aga Khan University Medical School. She did her internship from the University of Minnesota. She then went on to complete a residency in general surgery at Central Michigan University. Following her residency, she pursued a fellowship in Surgical Critical Care at Stanford University School of Medicine, further enhancing her expertise in the field.She also serves as the Associate Research Director for the Department of Surgery.
