Dr. Najla Ahmed, MD

Dr. Ahmed lead to two things happening in my household some years ago. The first is (this is from my parents, who aren't exactly trustworthy, so take it with salt,) writing the symptoms of autism in the symptoms of vaccines. This led my parents down the anti-vax rabbit hole (according to them). The second is that when I was a baby, she didn't give my parents antibiotics to treat me and my siblings with. To be frank, we suffered, because Ahmed thought we needed it for our immune system. If we caught something bad, we would have to deal with it, or die. Luckily all my siblings survived, but it was close. I nearly died of pneumonia because of this, and if my mom hadn't taken me somewhere else, I would bring dead. To put it simply, go somewhere else.

Dr. Ahmed diagnosed my son with ADHD based on one of 3 Vanderbilt surveys brought in. He sat reading patiently while she didn't speak with him once, told me he was "unmanageable" without heavy medication, and generally disrespected our time and intelligence. We have found a better pediatrician and won't ever waste our time with Dr. Ahmed again.

I have always been able to get a same day appointment and with little ones you know how important that is. It's a wonderful place to take your child. Great Doctor. Sweet staff.

She is very disrespectful. She does not now how to talk to people. If you stand your ground she will not see you again. Her staff is great. They work for a evil woman and they know it. I respect each one of them and applaud the fact that they tolerate her mess. I for one was not about to let her continue to talk to us any kind of way anymore.
