Dr. Naleah Johnson

Naleah Johnson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults who present with a variety of issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, verbal and physical abuse, grief and loss, self-esteem, and stress management, to name a few. Naleah has 4 years of experience in the mental health field. She completed her Master of Social Work (MSW) at Rutgers University. Naleah believes that we all have greatness within us! No matter what you may be feeling in this moment or what you may be going through in this season, you deserve hope, resolve, and happiness. She provides an eclectic approach that incorporates an array of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) strategies, mindfulness techniques, play therapy techniques, and the nurtured heart approach. Naleah knows the idea of going to therapy can be a new and scary venture for a lot of people, and her goal is to …make sure you feel as comfortable as possible discussing, uncovering, and working through your stuff! She truly believes that having a strong foundation and connection with your therapist is a key component to success in your therapeutic process. With this being said, Naleah plans to meet you where you are and work in tandem with you as you dive into your therapeutic journey.
