Dr. Nalini Anand, MD

During my (last) annual physical, Dr. Anand entered the room with a student. I was appalled that she did not deem it necessary to ask my permission to have this woman present during my examination. I found her behavior totally unprofessional, disrespectful, insensitive and arrogant. Suffice it to say, that was my last visit.

Dr. Nalini Anand has been my physician since 2009 and will be (I hope) for many years to come. I value her compassion and her interest in my health and wellness. What would make Dr. Anand most difficult to replace---if that time should ever come---is her wisdom and experience. Every doctor is knowledgeable in his or her own field but as a seasoned Emergency Department physician Dr. Anand has needed to--at one time or another--demonstrate an understanding of and care for nearly every acute and chronic medical condition there is. As a result, her knowledge base extends---in my opinion---far beyond that of a general practitioner with less experience in an acute-care setting. Any time that I have needed a referral to a specialist, her advice has been spot-on and on those occasions when I have needed to be seen on short notice, the office staff has always been very accommodating. Dr. Anand takes a personal interest in making sure that each of her patients thoroughly understands any medical… conditions and the plans to treat them. This means that you never have to worry about being rushed out the door. Somehow, despite never feeling rushed to leave, the office runs, in general, very close to right-on-time. I have never had to wait longer than 20 minutes to be seen for an appointment and usually the wait is more like five or ten minutes! If you are looking for a physician who is very highly qualified and easy to speak with, you need look no further than Dr. Nalini Anand.
