Dr. Nalini Devabhaktuni, MD

It was a pleasure to meet with a physician like Dr. Devabhaktuni. Refreshingly, she had reviewed my entire medical history & based on any new issues or concerns; skillfully prepared a knowledgeable & precise plan; all for my personal wellness & benefit. In a word: IMPRESSIVE!

I was admitted to Northwest Medical Center on May 28, 2018 for chest pains. On the next day Dr. Deva came to my room. Being in the hospital,Bo wasn't feeling happy or joyful. She came in (without introducing herself) and asked what was wrong with me. I proceeded to tell her about my chest. It seemed as though she was half listening so I shut down. She noticed my change, looked at me with a smirk and walked out. When she left I wanted to cry. A nurse came in and asked if I was alright. I said No. I asked the nurse who that Rude Doctor was and she said, "Oh, that's Dr. Deva, she's a good doctor". Months later, I was wondering why I couldn't get my claim with Aflac... Only to find out that Dr. Deva charted that: *I had Thyroid cancer (I have no cancer) *I had a Thyroidectomy ( I don't have cancer or a scar on my throat) *I had severe anxiety (this would take consultations and if she seen a woman crying, should not be reason to claim this) *I had Major Depression (same as… above) I have gone to the hospital on 3+ occasions to have this rectified, to no avail. She did send message via Patricia in Medical Records that she'd call me later THAT day. It had been 2 weeks. I was told that these things will remain on my medical records but just be amended. THIS IS TOTALLY WRONG! I will be searching for a lawyer for this debacle at this juncture. This took a moment for the doctor to "jot" these lies down, but forever for ME TO HAVE RECTIFIED.
