Dr. Naman Goel, MD

I have had a very good experience with Dr. Goel so far. After seeing three other neurosurgeons, he’s the first and only one that the pain that I’ve been experiencing in my hip, could be due to something other than my lower back, and finally doctors are looking more into that so I feel optimistic for the first time in a long time. I also had trigger point injections in my neck with him for the first time today and, while the procedure is not comfortable, it was fast and a lot less painful than I expected. Dr. Goel was very kind and always takes the time to explain concerns and procedures. He does his best to make procedures as comfortable as possible. He takes the time to make you feel heard overall as a patient. The neurosurgery department has scheduled appointments for me very quickly, and the nurses are fantastic. I would definitely recommend Dr. Goel, and I will definitely go back to him again if I am in need of repeated procedures or treatment. I definitely trust him with my care… moving forward.

Dr. Goel was very helpful in working with me on my pain management. He took the time to explain my condition, available treatments and the procedure. He then explained the risks, the expectations and aftercare to minimize future procedures. I would recommend him to anyone in my family as I felt he was one of the best physicians I have worked with.
