Very unhappy with the care and communication. We left the office not knowing what was wrong the there was no follow up.

I have to say with everything you go through with cancer one day I finally could stop and breathe. First you find out you have breast cancer, then all the doctors, then surgery. Then came chemo and that is when I met Dr. Namita Chittoria. She was the first one that began like this, "How are you feeling, what are your thoughts, how has it been so far for you, what questions or concerns do you have, what can I do for just you"...SHE REALLY CARED! She really wanted to know all of these concerns and help me with whatever it was, be it just sitting there talking, she understood and cared about my tears and fears and would say what can I do for you. I have been going to her since last year and today will be my last since I am done with chemo and I have a pain in my heart not being able to see her anymore. You need to understand it was not the first time she asked how was I doing, she did it every time I seen her. I know I could have asked her anything and she would have given me the… concern and caring about it. So many times when a person gets sick they are just transferred from Dr to Dr and you feel so overwhelmed. This did happen to me and then I met her and she became a friend to me not just a Dr. If you become sick and need an oncologist, I give her a 10 out of 10. I promise you will walk out with a smile on your face even with being sick because someone cares about you. Thank you Dr. Chittoria for everything and making one of the hardest times in my life easier!!! And the new Layton Parkway hospital is fantastic! So clean, treated with respect, have your own space.
