Dr. Nam Nguyen was born in Vietnam. Due to the turbulent times in the country, her parents escaped when she was two years old and have resided in the Sacramento area ever since. At a very young age she knew that she wanted to become a dentist. With her dreams in hand, she graduated from Center High School in the top five percent of her class. She continued her education at UCSD where she received her B.S. in Biochemistry in 2003. Wanting to expand her horizons, she accepted an offer to attend University of Pennsylvania Dental School where earned her doctorate.
Dr. Nguyen believes that all patients should be treated like family and be given all of their treatment options so that they may make an educated decision that fits their medical and financial needs. She has been able to retain almost every patient that she meets, because of her gentle work and amiable personality.Â
Dr. Nguyen was married in July of 2008 to Minh, who enjoys teaching high school …math. In November of 2010, they expanded their family to three with the arrival of their daughter. Dr. Nguyen enjoys knitting, crocheting and spending time with family.Â
