Summary
My practice is now limited to diagnostic assessment and medication management of child and adolescent mental health problems. At the Coon Rapids Clinic I often share my patients' care with the therapists on staff and have a close working relationship with them. Most of us have worked together for many years. My approach to medicine is to educate parents about my assessment and treatment recommendations so that they may make informed choices for their children. I view my role more as an authoritative collaborator with parents rather than as authority dictator.
