Dr. Nancy S. Deacon, DO

My grandchildren went to her she was very rude and inpatient I would not recommend this Dr

I normally don’t write any comments but I deemed it necessary to take the time to provide my honest opinion. My children have been going to Dr Deacon for years after their initial pedestrian retired and I have been pleased. Dr Deacon is through, caring, and is extremely attentive. I noticed that the previous comments were a reflection on office staff, and taking care of paperwork which is a reflection on Dr Deacon but NOT Dr Deacon herself. I do know she has a large clientel base of children which sometimes affects turn around time for paperwork but nothing earth shattering. For me having a Doctor that knows her stuff and cares for my child as if they were her own and personally follows up is A ok in my book.

Dr. Deacon is a fantastic doctor, always willing to squeeze us in when our child isn't feeling well. She is very thorough and honestly cares. The receptionist is very friendly and went above and beyond looking for things to help us. Would highly recommend

I have never in my life experienced such a rude, disrespectful, unprofessional receptionist in my life. She acts like it is a hassle to make appointments. She is rude EVERY time I have had to call the office for any reason. I am literally stunned by her argumentative, confrontational attitude toward clients. It is not acceptable to speak to anyone the way she does, let alone CLIENTS. I found another dr. because I got tired of being treated in this manner every time I needed to schedule an appointment or had a question regarding my children's health. I too, was reprimanded when I called about obtaining my children's medical records. She refused to fax them to my new doctor and insisted I pick them up directly. Any forms needed for school took over 3 weeks, but somehow that became my fault as well. She's a miserable woman!

"forgot" to follow up on my child's condition, and the staff are inept when scheduling tests for patients. upon learning that my child would need a specialist, i was told they would not complete the referral until i looked up the specialist's number. i have never needed to do any such thing with any other medical office. requested my child's records and it took nearly 2 weeks to complete my request. was reprimanded by the receptionist for not calling them back to confirm the appointment i made?? since when does the patient have to call? terrible.
