I have been a patient of Dr. Kane for years and she is so kind, understanding, and sensitive to her patient’s needs. She always has time to listen. I always leave my appointment thankful that my doctor actually cares about me. Her staff is always attentive.

The wait times to actually get an appointment scheduled with the Iowa Diabetes and Endocrinology Clinic in general are terrible. I'd suggest finding another clinic if you need to get in soon.

I liked Dr. Kane at first as she seemed genuinely interested in addressing my issues and concerns. After being her patient for a couple years, things changed. She was no longer interested in my symptoms or the fact that the treatment wasn't doing what she said it would. Instead she kept scheduling me to see her every 6 months with no improvement. Also the clinic seems to be poorly managed or understaffed as there are long waits and the staff seem stressed and flustered most of the time. I suggest looking for another clinic and doctor.

Dr. Kane is a very good listener and never makes me feel rushed. She always takes care to answer completely any questions I have. She is a very caring doctor. I highly recommend her.
