Dr. Nancy Y Kim, MD

Dr. Nancy Kim gave me a direct and life saving second opinion on my cancer at the VA medical center. She is very compassionate and to the point. She seeks the best outcome for her patients. She is my favorite Urologist. She is very intelligent.

She has been my doctor since early 2008 she treated my kidney stones and still treats me for other conditions Dr Kim and her nurse are friendly and do call back in a timely manner Now end of 2017 and still have NO complaints Thank you Dr Kim for your care!!

Horrible, rude cross-eyed nurse and terrible bedside manner from Dr. Kim. Never once asked how I was feeling on any occassion and attempted to tell me my pain was in my head and refused to give any medication for relief. Had to go to the ER and was cathed for 5 days. Hospital doctor did not agree with the assessment that there was "nothing wrong" with my kidney or that my pain was non-existant. I was even accused by that same nurse, who urged me to go to the ER because of the severity of pain, of causing my own urinary retention by ODing on pain meds that did nothing to help me in any case.

I'm sure she can handle a UTI infection. Don't go to her if your problem is more complicated. She does not know what she is doing. The only reason she is still in business is because she gets the overflow patients from the other Drs at North Texas Urology.

First of all, you can't speak to a real person when you call their number. Second, I had tests ran and was told the doctor would get back with me in 2-3 days. By the 3rd day, I called them and left a message with the nurse. No one returned my call. Forth day, I called back and left another message. Nurse finally called but didn't have all the info. Said she'd call right back. Five hours later, she hadn't called so I called the office back. Dr. Kim never called..only had her nurse do it. Tests were normal so nurse said they didn't know what was wrong. And in the mean time, I'm in pain this whole time. Doesn't seem to phase Dr. Kim though. She said to go to the ER if I had more pain. Worthless....

She made me feel confortable. The questions asked were clear, I understoodwhat was asked. If I didn't understand,she rephased it to where I really understood what she was saying.She has a very nice personality, she seemed very happy and with smiles, which made me happy to be in her presence. Her nurse was the same way. I appreciated this so much. Thank you.

Found her to be "down to earth" and very pleasant. She has a very busy practice, but has always taken care of my problems. She moves rapidly and is a very high-energy physician is probably what the last rating was low. I like her very much.

Dr. Kim's office staff are kind and attentive. This is more than I can say for her. She was very abrupt with me and my family. I do not think she accurately diagnosed me or offered appropriate treatment. When I complained to my family doctor, he said she has been rude to him as well in the past. I will never go to her or her practice again.
