Summary
Dr. Klipfel first came to the Keck School of Medicine of USC as a surgical pathology fellow in 2002. She had previously completed a fellowship at UCLA on cytopathology after finishing her residency there. In 2003 Dr. Klipfel was appointed Assistant Professor of Pathology at Keck and has in a short time achieved numerous accomplishments. In 2004 she was awarded a "Teacher of the Year" honor and she currently gives monthly lectures to pathology residents and other Keck students. Dr. Klipfel is a member of both the Cancer Committee and the Clinical Laboratories Committee at Keck and has co-authored a peer reviewed article and a book chapter.
