Dr. Nancy Lau, MD

unorganized, dirty medical office, Poor management, overbooked, money making machine.

Scheduled a colonoscopy for 12:30. Arrived at 12:20. They have you provide a urine sample and have you holding it until in waiting room till your appointment. It’s now over an hour from the appointment time and no communication on when you will be taken in. I am still holding urine sample. Now finally I get up to see what is going on and someone comes and finally takes my urine sample after holding on to it for over an hour and they me another 20 minutes. So do Not schedule a colonoscopy with this doctor. She does it from a weworks type office which there is no one to talk to and you’ve now spent over 24 hours not eating and cleaning for them to make you wait for another 2 hours after your scheduled appointment. Extremely unprofessional.

Dr. Lau has been my doctor for 20 years and she has served me well. She watches her patients carefully for possible developments which happened to me when my condition progressed to Barrett's disease. She had warned me it could happen so when it did, I was prepared. Her staff is lovely too.

I went to this doctor and was diagnosed and told to make another appointment to decide the treatment. She said the decision on treatment would include me, my wife, and herself. When I came for the follow up visit in which my wife had to take off time from her job to attend, the decision making did not include me or my wife. She vaguely addressed the issue saying it wasn't worth my while, and was closed to making a decision with my wife and I. My illness is life threatening and she dismissed the whole issue. Then she went on to wanting to treat me for something I'd already been treated for. We felt totally ostracized by this doctor, who totally wasted our time.

I highly recommend Dr Lau for any gastro issues. She is competent and empathic and is accessible to questions.

Just amazed at how fast I got in to see her. She spent quality time explaining in easy to understand and detailed language what the possibilities were. I couldn't be happier having found her. And to think, I never would have found her if my primary care doc didn't cancel our appointment!

Dr. Lau is a very good doctor; she explains everything thoroughly and listens to what you have to say. She also has a lovely personality.
